California Festival

Long Beach Symphony welcomes renowned Hindustani violinist Kala Ramnath to the Terrace Theater as she performs the Hindustani Violin Concerto written for Ramnath by multiple-award-winning Indian-American composer Reena Esmail in this mesmerizing, rhythmically captivating tour-de-force for orchestra and Hindustani violinist.
The event will also include Stravinsky's picaresque Pulcinella Suite, Joplin's trippingly infectious Treemonisha overture and, joined by the Long Beach Ballet, Bernstein's ever effervescent toe-tapping Fancy Free.
